On the 2nd of May we participated at the HR Technology Europe event in RAI Amsterdam. It kicked off with a discussion around a topic that is very near and dear to our heart: The Revolutionary Effects of AI and Technology on the Employee Experience. Josh Bersin, Bo Derksen, Uzair Quadeer and Esme Valk shared their insights and learnings. Many interesting comments were given; here are a few that I’d like to share:
Transition from employee engagement to employee experience. It’s all about experience these days and same goes for your workforce. Filling in assessments is no longer enough, experience starts with listening to your people and aligning the values of the organziation.
Create meaning and belonging. Defining the organization’s values is crucial here, however, when you align the customer experience as well, it provides a better sense of belonging for the employees.
Take ownership of processes. You as HR know the exact problem, challenges and desired results. Co-create with your vendors.
Measure data constantly. The main focus is on your people, hence one dataset is not sufficient.
